Camp Overview

This Junior School Nature Camp is transforming. It changes children’s lives through meaningful programming, delightful adventures, and rich environmental education, all in a positive peer atmosphere of safety and supervision.

What can we expect from Junior School Nature Camp?

Our students have been venturing to Earth Studies for over 10 years, no textbooks or online activities could ever match the connections with nature that Ashbury students have experienced in the outdoors at Earth Studies.
— Brian Storosko, Headmaster of Junior School, Ashbury College

The most valuable skills and activities focus on developing outdoor emergency skills and environmental awareness. From the beginning, our qualified staff develop progression for campers each day, so each experience builds upon the last. We also invite campers to engage with our sled dogs, horses and wildlife centre.

Camp offers kids something they don’t do enough at home: they get to explore and play in a safe outdoor environment and learn about the natural world. During this overnight experience, kids from 8-14 enjoy a range of fun outdoor activities, including nature crafts, playing with dogs, adventure games, canoeing, swimming, creative journaling, storytelling, hiking and much more.

Attention: Registration closes on May 31st. Sessions are limited to 12 campers per session.
